How to view email headers in Lotus Notes 8.x

As an Microsoft Exchange administrator it is often needed to get the email Headers (the source) from customer environments. Here is a short tutorial how to do that for IBM Lotus Notes 8.x.

1. open the email
2. choose from the menu “view”
3. then “show”
4. and then “Page Source”

The full header (page source) will now show up in the new page you see.

Note: If the “Page Source” option is grayed out, the email was send internally from one Notes user to another and not via Internet. In that case there is no page source which can be displayed.
