I recently tried to install a older Software and got the error message “The file <folder and filename>.cab has no digital signature, or has a digital signature that is not verified” and the installation couldn´t proceed.
The error message looks like as followed:
A deeper check from the CAB file shows that the certificate which was used to sign the software expired
So the solution here was to get in contact with the Software vendor and they provided a newer release from the software which has also a new and up to date certificated used here.
