This short how to explains possible upgrade options for the HP t510 Thin Client
CPU (soldered in, not able to upgrade):
- VIA Eden X2 U4200 @ 1.0+ Ghz
- Dual Core
- 64 bit
- CPU released in 2011
Graphic Card (soldered in, not able to upgrade):
- VIA Chrome9 HC IGP (VIA VX900)
RAM:
- 204-pin 1600MHz DDR3 SODIMM
- minimum 128 MB reserved for onboard graphics
- A 2 or 4 GB single channel RAM Module is known to be working here
- 1 Memory slot
Memory bus runs at 533MHz
HD 1:
- 44-pin IDE DOM (Disk On Module)
- 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 GB are known to be working here
- 8 GB (e.g. Apacer 8C.4DD46.8256B as reported by email)
- 90 degree card
HD 2:
- There is an SATA Port on that device, which can be used to install an appropriate disk
- Known working devices Transcend TS32GHSD370 (32 GB)
Other:
- 6 USB 2.0 (two in front, two in rear, two in secure USB compartment)
- 10/100/1000 Gigabit (Broadcom 57780 LAN)
- Optional (installed in the Mini-PCIe 1x Slot): Mini PCI-E Internal Wireless LAN with external antenna (Atheros a/b/g/n)
