The WLAN 6 (AX) standard was release today
The WLAN 5 (AC) standard allows a max from 433Mbit per antenna, while the WLAN 6 (AX) allows 1202Mbit per antenna. So if a device is equipped with 2×2 antennas it could reach up to 866/867Mbit with WLAN5(AC) or 2404Mbit with WLAN6(AX). If the device would be equipped with 4×4 antennas you could reach up to 1733Mbit with WLAN5(AC) or 4808Mbit with WLAN6(AX).
When using the WLAN 5 (AC) standard with MU-MIMO the devices are handled in parallel and there is no switch every second to handle the download stream. With WLAN 6 (AX) using MU-MIMO also the upload is supported via that parallel way.

Note:
Some vendors do not allow to replace the build in WiFi card. They block that via the BIOS and if you replace the build in card, your notebook will not start until you remove the non valid card. There are some bios modification out there which remove that limitation. You can find them via google via “BIOS <YourNotebookModel> pci unlock” or “BIOS whitelist <YourNotebookModel>”.
When it comes to HP a general guide is no whitelists on notebooks made in 2013 or later, some models made in 2012 don`t have them, and all models made from 2011 and earlier do (as far as I know). Additional there are a couple of models made in 2015 that have whitelists, such as the 14-ac and 15-ac model series.

The following devices have a BIOS build in whitelist:
